Toadstool Cora question for the pros...

I've had this toadstool for a week now. The first couple of days it extended out and was beautiful. It has looked like this since this past Tuesday. What does this look like to all of you? All my other corals look great.

It could just be shedding its skin. My leathers will do this randomly and stay closed for a few days, shed their skin, and then open up again. As long as it doesn't start deteriorating you should be ok.

How long does that normally take? It's not deteriorating just hasn't opened up and the surface of it looks shiny l.

Sometimes this happens when they have too much light and/or not enough water flow.

My toadstool can take anywhere from 6 hours to 2-3 days to shed. The higher the flow the sooner it usually happens for me.

As of yesterday evening it has started to open up!!! It still didn't look as it did when i first put it in, but i'm hoping today it gets back to normal.

Yup, looks good, make sure it gets plenty of flow. If you notice it sheds a lot that is usually the main reason they shedd besides growing. Mine does it monthly and usually gets bigger when it is done shedding,
