Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to show off the new tank build in process. Decided to downsize and go with a Deep Blue 30 gallon cube (24"X 24") and try a new tonga branch aquascape. So far this is a mixed reef with 60% sps, 30% zoas and a little bit of lps here and there. This is my first time going bare bottom and currently experiencing some cloudy water which might be an algae bloom but we will see as time goes by. There is around 15 lbs of Tonga and 5 lbs of rock. I do have some Detox blox in the mail from Aqua-Tecture which will go in before the live stock is introduced. As of now, I'm trying to figure out my daily dosing amounts while tidying up the wires. One thing to look forward is actually the coralline growth on the bottom.
Equipment:
ATI Sunpower with 6 bulbs (ATI Blue+) and 2 actinic reef brights
2x ATI Nero 5 (one coming in the mail)
Eheim 1250 return pump
SCA301 skimmer
Reef angel to control the temp,lights, and dosing ( Alk,Ca,Mag)
