Here are mine:

1. Where did you get all of the decorations from? Petco?
2. You paid how much for that? Dang, you're crazy! (after divulging how much I paid for a zoa frag, $20)
3. Did you have to take a class to do the water testing?

I have many more lol!

I've gotten the nemo and dory one as well! I usually don't like to tell people how much I pay for stuff. I usually say something along the lines of "it wasn't 5 bucks" lol!
 
"So that is actually alive?" ( I have been asked too many times this question about coral) lol
" Is that a nemo fish?" ( I shake my head in disappointment and say yes)
"How do you clean the glass? ( asked this on my 1200 and then I show them the mag float and they think its is the coolest thing, then they try and move it and can't lol)
"You should put a piranha in there!" ( then I have to teach the customer the difference between fresh and saltwater )

the customers are completely serious when they ask too, and I always

Dang, a 1200 gallon? I've got to find your build thread! Not sure how I missed it! The piranha one is a notorious comment. I had mentioned to several of my non-aquarium friends about trying to catch certain fish and how quick they were only to get the "add a piranha" comment. Sometimes I'm not sure if they're serious, or just joking!

Those are awesome! lol! The "is it freshwater or saltwater" kills me every time!
 
The top three in a single conversation

Them: Look at the cool crab waving his hands!!
Me: Yes, the anemone crab is cool. What about this coral, fish, etc?
Them: They are ok, but that crab is great! So is all that stuff that waves back and forth.
Me: Argh, yep the crab is pretty cool and so is the torch coral…
Them: Where is Nemo and Dory?
Me: Let’s go do something else now…
 
"What are those cool looking silver balls?" That is nuisance bubble algae :). I have like 4 or 5 little bubbles in my 120 and that is the first thing they notice. Lol
