What's up guys!!!

During the storm today I lost Internet and turns out my apex isn't working whatsoever. It's not turning off my lights and my ato I unplugged everything but I've never had this happen and it's been online for years. I'm pretty lost and I'm looking for a opinion on what to do. Comcast won't be out till wed essay to fix it either. Any ideas?

Now the apex is "working" meaning it overdosed about 20g if kalk into the tank.1 halide comes on and it's funky. I seriously am starting to hate this hobby. :(

I've had the firmware mess up on a power outage and it acted funny by leaving lights on, heater off, etc.

I'd recommend downloading the latest firmware and installing it.

You only need internet to download the file, it's the only way I found to correct the erratic behavior. Id recommend bringing a laptop to a friends or going somewhere downloading the file and transfer it with a flash drive or something.

Starbucks if no body is close.

Or maybe

Try downloading it to your phone and then transfer the file to your computer with a USB.

I can definitely get to a neighbors and download it to the computer. Now I'm going to sound like a noob, but without Internet how do I get it so the controller knows the update was done. Oh this is crazy to me, in 5 years this has never happened and I've lost power and internet.

So download the program onto the computer then what

I'm looking on the neptuneapex page and it says both need Internet. So even if I get this downloaded onto the computer I can't see getting it to the u it

Use the USB cable to connect to the apex and update it. Should have came with one.

Maybe I am wrong!

So download it to the computer from my buddies house then connect it at home with the USB and I'll be set? I'm so lost because everything on the download page is saying I need the unit connected to Internet for it to work

You can hook a laptop directly to it with an Ethernet cable. You will need to modify some of the IP settings of the computer/laptop to be in the same subnet, but if you PM I can help.

When you get it live, look at your FALLBACK statements...
And look into small battery back up (UPS) for router and Apex...

Jrpark is right, connect your laptop direct to both APEX and your router and you can do everything you need.

If they are all set to OFF, that is probably why nothing is working.

My return pump and my lights (AI) are not on the EB, so they follow their program. Heater/chiller are the tricky ones...

Sorry last sentence blended. Pump is on EB8 and fallback set to ON

All the fallbacks are set to off. I just checked through the apex controller itself. The actinic is on like it should be but the halides and the ato want to be on when they shouldn't be. They are still on auto, nothing has been changed. I've manually unplugged them for now until I get the update downloaded

If you ever took a configuration backup, it's straight forward to use the controller to reinstall the previous backup. It's also in the users manual.
