Utter Chaos from WCR ?

I picked this up from WCR last weekend and wondering if they will color up like the utter chaos on planet zoa? or are they just the type they are. using T5 lighting View attachment 6387

They're definitely not A&O, because of the segregation of light from the mouth. It's much closer to UC's than A&O's IMO.

They are indeed utter chaos. Here's the thing. I did not over saturate the pics like most people do. Those and the my clementines are the only ones i named and are 100% legit. I don't know
The names to many Zoas, but I would never call it something without knowing the name.

Funny thing is. I bought a small colony off Mai a while back. It grew out nicely. No one questioned they were UC's when he posted them under Blue Led's. But for some reason this is not the first time I'm hearing people ? I just called them UC. I actually posted a pic of some of my acans on R2R and had the frags in the background. I had 4 people pm asking for frags of utter chaos without me stating they were UC. If your unhappy pm me.

And I've purchased from PZ many times. Dropped 2000 last order from him Travis. He has awesome stuff, but the pictures are def saturated. I know what they are suppose to look like so I don't get upset when I get something that doesnt look like the pic on his site.

Can't deny or admit the polyps in the OP pic are Utter Chaos, but I have my mini colony from Mai that do look a bit different. The thing with z&p is that they can change looks a bit going between different tanks, or even being slammed with swings in parameter just in the same tank. I would have to say if WCR has lineage info and named them as such, just give them some time to adjust to your tank. One thing I did notice with my UC polyps that they appreciated lower light than most of my other polyps do, and really didnt start growing until i had them in a low direct light area with lower undertow flow on the sandbed. These polyps could have come off a shaded part of the mother colony and just need a little time to really color up and POP.

i got them from the same batch of frags that mai made in the link above. just give them time... they thrive on my sandbed and now are looking great! 2 baby heads within a month of me getting them. like george said, low flow, low to med light and they are happy as can be

They are different for me, I have them mid to high light and mid to high flow and they are growing nicely. The color pop is amazing.
