Meet Elston. Just yesterday this little man was found behind a restraunt, abandoned with a broken jaw, ruined eye and a tail that never stopped wagging. Through our new relationship with Chicago Canine Rescue, we were able to donate our services, giving this guy a new lease on life. With Dr. Bertoglio joining their Board of Directors, we look forward to helping more needy pets find the homes they've always wanted, and the homes that always wanted them!

That is one lucky dog to be alive. I hate when people abuse or neglect animals. I just don't have a tolerance for that kind of behavior.
 
I am happy that Dr. B was able to take good care of him. She is a great veterinarian and a very nice person too. It just sucks that their people out there that can do evil thing to a helpless dog. I have 3 dogs myself, and I love them so much.
 
I really really wish some of these people would be caught in the act by someone like myself who has a trained guard dog that I could turn loose on them....kinda like that mugger who ran into Jon Jones and ended up with multiple broken bones and had to go to the hospital before being taken to jail....honestly nothing pisses me off more than cruelty to dogs, because 99% of them will just sit there and take it from their owners because of the love they have for us.
 
Update.....

I just came back from there, the dog is doing great. Very loving and friendly. He is going to a foster home. :)
 
Now, wait a minute people! Who said this dog was abused? I thought they said it was found behind dumpster? The dog could be runaway and got hit by a vehicle.

My little buddy, Mr. Peepocket, lost his eye yesterday. Ruptured/exploded. I hope nobody thinks I abused him!
