Any one know of someone who can fix walls??

I was trying to move my bed frame into the hall and punched a hole into the wall

Does someone know how/ where I can get it fixed for cheap ?? Or my apt ppl are gonna charge me when I vacate lo

you can get a patch and some vinyl spackle at the hardware store. depending on how bad the hole, you should probably be able to fix it yourself. Just get a putty knife that is the next size bigger than the hole, put the patch up (some are adhesive, then spread a bunch of spackle on it and smooth it out really well with the putty knife.

Go to the hardware store and get some spackle and a flexible putty knife. If the hole is too big for that, you can also buy a kit that will supposedly cover up to a 6 inch hole.

live downtown .. and in presidential towers :)

lol not cover up ...i sold the bed frame and well i was carrying it without dismantling it and its a kinda 3 inch hole :)

well i heard that i can fix it but i have no experience with it so thought just ask here :)

Yeah, it's not difficult at all. The hardest part will probably be finding the same color paint to paint the cover up.

even that now adays is easy if u bring a paint chip in the match it perfectly with computer scaning

i punched a hole thru two walls before some plaster sanding block and paint like new and i used a sponge to put first coat on to give it texture cause when u sand its always smoother then rest of wall the sponge gives it the right look then i put second coat on and cant tell i ever punched it lol

A simple trick is to crumple up newspaper and stick it in the hole before spackling/mudding it. This will give the spackle something to stick to because the hole is pretty large. Youtube is a great resource.

Well looking at the YouTube vedios it looks pretty simple and as I said the hole in my wall is just like baseball size

I'm now thinking over fixing it myself is not a bad idea and I can save some money for some corals ;)

hey tin let me know i can do it. ive worked my fair shair of mud n tape, i can patch, finish it, and paint it. :-0 i have the tools also. pm me. ill do it on the cheap to since im out of work.

if u decide to do it urself and the hole is fairly large. Get a piece of wood larger the the hole. Screw some screws on the top and bottom through the previous drywall. Then cut a piece of drywall that'll fit into the hole. Use a screw to screw that now into the wood. Cover/spackle and it'll look good as new.
