Want moonlights - need advice

Hi,I want to install moonlights on my tank.What do you guys use? Need recommendations please.

I'll assume your talking about the 120...I'd go with the moonlight kit from rapid. You can use 1-4 of their RB moonlight leds. I actually use 2 RB and 1 UV for my tank and it's perfect.

I use 4 RB 1w kit from rapid on my 180 and it's crazy bright. For your 120, you only need the 2 led kit, will be more than enough light.

1w or 3w? That's prolly all you need to grow stuff in a 12g if they are 3w, lol

I use Stunner LED Strips from Ecoxotic, there 48" long I love it because there is no spot light effect that you get using single led's. I only have one 445nm blue, thats just outside of the uv range but the light still is bright enough to reach down to the deepest part of my tank. Plus everything just explodes with color!

Thanks Eric,I totally forgot I can use this with my RKL. What color do you have lunar white or nocturnal blue?

Blue. I use 2 pods to cover my 36" long tank. 3 and it would be a bit more brighter. At $9 a pod it isn't bad. The lunar cycle is cool too. Some nights it's bright others it's very dim.

Hey Eric, for the lunar cycle do you have to do anything special? Timers? Or does it do random light intensities? I use the night cycle on my RKE for my MP40's at night works out real good!

Nope. Just select the LEDs as lunar in the menu and it takes it from there.

I love this feature. I have mixed blue and white. They also have red.
