It's strange; on CR "Anthony27" USED to have great feedback. Unless all the good feedback was for pieces reefers didn't know were fakes.

Problem is, that so many different people keep selling frags after buying " the Original", that is really impossible to know what you are paying for. One of the reason I stop buying named LE corals fr crazy $$$.
 
I bought some from him too, none of them survived a week after shipment. Most of the time they are fresh cuts IMO and he always claimed they are not .


One Of the couple of pieces that did survive is battle corals hell flower milli. I took pictures of it and send to Adam at battlecorals and after giving him the name of the guy and everything he said Anthony did buy it from him back in 2012 and the piece does look like it.
There is no 100% sure way of IDing a named coral atleast with sps
 
I order as well. I got a few pieces that were reef raft. He had receipts and the coral matched online pics. I did get burned on 400.00, but to Anthony's credit he has been paying me back. He says the transhipper screwed him and he's paying out of pocket to pay me back. Important part is he is making payments.

I don't know. I bought a few from him that I knew were not legit and I ended up given them new names :) so I am claiming them now.
The RR Yellow Mamba he sold me, he states he bought from RMF and I looked up RMF pic of Yellow Mamba and looks the same. So I think some of his stuff are legit, but some are wild look alikes. I think that RMF lost his RR Yellow Mamba colony and I haven't really seen the picture of actual RR colony. Anyways only RR yellow mamba of people I see are actually green acro's and not yellow. Mine is closer to yellow. So all I did is drop the RR and just calling it Yellow Mamba, which looks more yellow and looks more like the RMF/RR Yellow mamba in online pic than most pics I see on internet.
 
He's no different from RR who sells wild stuff, jacking up the price, and frags never grow up to look like their mother colony pics anyways. Atleast he sold his stuff cheap and now I get to claim the colonys that were grown from his wild frags for myself :)
 
I am with Nino here, I bought some from him too..the wofverine look the same RR thing..He gave me some free frag too..the price was really nice..
 
He does sell his stuff cheap. and I bet he's got more happy customers than unhappy ones. I saw someone in R2R selling an Avenger frag that he got from him months ago, that looked like the real Avenger. I don't know if he's getting all his corals mixed up. But I never had issues with him, other than he is slow to ship and he did give me some corals that's not what they are named, which I've been in SPS game long enough to know, and end up claiming them as named by me :) . And he did give me a disclaimer last time I bought from him that some people are saying negative stuff about him, but he has proof that he bought all those corals from RMF/RR/BC. he does also get wild stuff and I don't know if he get's them all mixed up sometimes.
I guess if you are really into names then buy direct from the source, but just have to pay arm/leg for them. Also, another tip is that I now ask for WYSIWYG pics before buying, at least get pics of their colonys so you know for sure that colony they are cutting from is legit looking.

The word "scammer" seem not right to him..I did talk and text with Anthony and he seem very nice...if he is scammer then he never give you his contact number..I bought only one frag of RR avenger and he heard my tank scrash (from Nino - 2012), he end up sent me 3 extra frags included Wolverine, banana and RR unknow name for $100. I lost the Banana 2 months later. The Banana frag is exactly the same frag from Battle Corals which I bought 3-4 weeks ago. The other frags are look the same when I check online. To me, I don't think he is scammer.
I will buying from him again if he has some for sale..He had a paper to prove that he bought from and picture at RR california. My 2 cents.

+1 he gets stuff mixed up probably but he bought all high end stuff for high end money back in 2012 and I think knows what he is doing so obviously they should be nice colonies by now.

He procrastinates a lot and I still believe sent me fresh cuts but that's understandable when one has a kid and a family and not getting too much profit and he took care of the DOA.

His prices are nice for nice stuff.

As for the multiple names he used to A&A and then another local to ny with similar name asked him to change the name and he changed to coralfarmerny, rest of the names on other forums are just screen names and can be anything just like ours and he is not sponsoring those forums so screen names can be any many is what he told me.

He has given his real name and actual ph number to everyone of us and as Mai said no scammer would do that.

I wouldn't have probably bothered to pm him and buy from him before this thread but after this if I get Back into sps, I will buy from him.
