was shocked when i saw price of this fish..

I would never buy any fish that expensive. Not only would I be so nervous about an issue with it, but I think there are a lot cheaper and prettier fish.

i agree.. u can get a lot of other fish/corals/equipment for that price
 
in this case, rarity far outweighs beauty when you consider pricing. People with deep pockets in the hobby would pay just to say they have one.
 
I wouldn't pay $2500 for that fish. Unless you guys came to visit, nobody would ever think he's any better than a flame angel, so why spend the extra dough, even it it is rare. Besides, this fish is supposed to have water temps between 64-74, so you would have to start a new tank just for this guy....making this fish a lot more expensive than $2500!!
 
Rare fish are expensive and not for most of us.If you think $2500 is expensive look at this angel.Paracentropyge boylei so far the only known living specimen in private aquarium.This fish is going for more than $20,000 if you are lucky to get one.

I plan on buying a conspicuous angel in the next 3 years.The interruptus is not my cup of tea.
