Water pump to airline adapter?

I made a DIY ghetto version of the Gnome Glass Airstone skimmers for my 14g Biocube with a PVC pipe and it worked OK but I think I can do better. Are there any adapters for a small 70 gph water pump to airstone size tubing? I am wanting to run a water feed line at the top pointing down to make it counter current. Does such a thing exist or am I limited to an aqua lifter? I want to get some flow going against the bubbles but I don't think an Aqua lifter would be enough.

I made one a while back using one of these, some 1/2" ID tubing, and a couple heavy duty zip ties. Keep in mind though, the pump can get pretty noisy. This is a HUGE restriction on flow.

Get the 70gph version of this and close it down. I have such a small little current going in my Evolve with the betta. Also 100% totally silent:

Is there a reason it needs to be airline size tubing?

A lot of the pumps come with an adapter to attach an airline and draw in air. If you cap the large output end you will have what you are looking for.
