Heard this interview on NPRs Fresh Air today...pretty interesting so thought I would share:

The interview is with Jonathan Balcombe author of the new book What a Fish Knows: The Inner Lives of Our Underwater Cousins.
In his book Balcombe address how fishes think, use their memory and experience feeling among other things. I really enjoyed this radio story and thought the section in which they talked about the aquarium trade was particularly interesting. His research definitely underscores how important it is for us to provide the best home possible for our aquatic friends and treat them with as much respect as possible.
Thoughts?
