Got a used acrylic tank and am looking to do a light buffing inside and outside of tank. What should I use? Not really any major scratches but could use a little shine

Thanks

Novus works pretty well. I just used it on mine, took out all but the deepest scratches. It made those much less noticeable though, and I'm sure with some more work I could take them out. I think you can get it at like premium aquatics, or marine depot. I think I got my kit on amazon.

sand with real fine sandpaper that you can buy from car supply store, then use Novus 2.
research in youtube about "removing acrylic aquarium scratches" -- most of them uses sandpaper, then Novus 2.

I just thought about it... I still have a bunch left. I bought an 8oz kit, so 8oz of each bottle, 1, 2, and 3. I paid $15, you could have it for $10? I don't have the "cloths" that came with it anymore, but they are basically just paper towels. Which, btw, work great! ;)

You can order the bonus online through amazon. I would sand using sandpaper designed for acrylic. Do a search online and you will find it

When I buffed my tank, I used 600 sandpaper, then 1000, then 2000, then the novus. If you think you dont need sandpaper, try the novus for heavy scratches and if it doesnt get them out use sandpaper, then back to novus.
