I know that the tang will eat it, but not sure about the angel. If nobody need any, I just throw it away.

You could keep it in a bucket with a ph and a light. If you use your wc water the macro would be very happy

lol, the fish are eating something either way (importing) right? If they eat the chaeto from the tank it's just closing the loop slightly.

I have tons i throw away. I've got aiptasia, hair algae, had red bugs, had aefw, hydroids, ich. I'm afraid to sell or give away anything.
