What do you guys think

Saw this on cl and am curious what you guys think. If you guys think it's OK then I might go grab it tonight. The thing that bothers me is the top looks funny and there's no center brace. Do you think it'd blow out? And I can't find any info on the tank as far as oceanic building one this size. It says 230 but calculates to 218, but the dimensions are nowhere to be found on any website

I had an old Oceanic with no center brace. The old Oceanic's were built with thick glass, much thicker than the glass used on tanks nowadays. I never had an issue with mine. Ask him if he is willing to fill, and drain before you buy it. If so, I'd trust it imo.

The top has what's called a eurobrace, but haven't seen one like this before. If you are worried about it, you can have a piece of glass or two cut at a local glass shop to run from front to back. Just silicone them in place, and you have yourself a center brace.

Perfectly fine, it has a eurobrace going on top, this will hold. Seams seem clean without air bubbles, I would go for it, especially for that price.
