I have been looking everywhere for this piece. I bought the AI Hanging Kit for $40, and really liked the way it looked, so I thought I could just make my own for a different light, and this piece has been a pain to locate.
I think the only way to get one is directly from Aqua Illumination (AI). Not sure if anyone else sells it.

For those needing to buy them, the cheapest I've seen is the hanging kits from reef breeders. I think I payed $10 for it, maybe $15 shipped, but comes with two. Also for the OP, Jeff, I actually have one you can have, just PM me and tell me how much it's worth to you. Just kidding, it's free. I'm a little ways from you, though.

I might have to take you up on the offer, Marilyn. Thanks. I've searched online and it is called a gripple. I believe it's made by griplock systems. I haven't been able to find it for sale though. You are a little far but not too bad. I'll let you know if I am unable to find it online or locally. No worries on the name change....it's just a nickname given to me by co-workers
