What is this???

White hair algae and your water parameters are good? Please post a better pic and your water tests. If your new you could be missing something we will catch
 
how long has your tank been up and running, are you using ro/di water, what ro system do you have, and how old is the filters,
 
My tank was fully cycled by Christmas day and i added 3. Green chromis and they are still healthy i have a elive cleaRO 50 it was a cheap one and ins about 2/3 moths old i try to clean my sump sock and uv out in r/o water once every week
 
I started to do 10 gal waterchange every week i waited about 2 weeks with my chromis in my tank before i did the first w change
 
If I blow the dust off the rocks, the dust covers those rocks with tiny hair algae, then the algae turns to gray, like gray hair lol
 
Your tank is honestly still young enough you are just at the point of weird things blooming and dieing off. I wouldn't sweat anythimg out of the ordinary at this point. Keep your parameters stable and your tank will take care of itself as far as reaching its equilibrium.

Water changes will help things along as long as you are past the initial Nitrogen cycle.

Even so, do you see what looks like green hair algae the crazy kind on the upside down photo with the clown?
 
String together a couple of water changes, if you can remove the rock and clean it off that would help, just make sure to rinse it in some fresh saltwater before putting it back in the tank (don't want to release any left over spores back into your water). I'd cut back the feeding while you do all of that as well.
 
It's called chrysophytes. It grows due to silica in your water.

There are no known predators for that.
 
No it doesnt have a d/i cartrage on it but i tppk the rocks out and cleaned them 2 days ago and so far i dont see it coming back yettt
