What type of sand is everyone using????

I'm setting up a 60g cube and not sure what sand to go with. I want something fine enough to keep a goby happy, but i also don't want it blowing all over the place.

With that said, what are you using and how do you like it?

I personally like the special grade from carib-sea. It's a nice medium grain size that won't blow around much but is still small enough for gobies/wrasses.

I have a really fine grain sand in both tanks but the flow in the 30 is really high and my diamond goby blows sand everywhere. Makes me mad. But the 93 I'm setting up now will have crushed coral and where ever my goby decides to call home I'm going to put a nice size patch of fine grain sand... not sure if it'll work

I have three different types in my three tanks. Pink Fiji, Black Hawiian and fine white.

Ive always used carribsea or how ever u spell it my gobie is happy never really tried anything else so cant tell u about anything else

i wish i knew what sand i had. i have probably sand that is over 20 years old from 20 other reefers around the area. its rich!

I'm going with anything but the fine grade next time....wrasse goes in every might and makes a fricken mess.
