What would be the Best Reef Stores in Chicago Area?

Must stop to me would be Reefwise in Lisle, Aquapros in Glen Ellyn and Old Town Aquarium downtown Chicago.

If by Chicago you mean the actual city, Old Town Aquarium is a must see. It is easily a top 10 LFS in the country as far as rare fish/inverts are concerned. New Fish is also in the city, but their selection is hit or miss. Sometimes they have a ton of nice stuff, sometimes you'll be looking at mushrooms.

If you mean the suburbs, I would check out Aquapros in Glen Ellyn or Aquatica in Tinley Park.

South Chicago area there is reef city aquatics in Frankfort ill. Buuuuuuut there are tons of reefers in the Chicagoland area that have awesome stuff available.

I agree with OldTown aquarium. If you've got money, they are where you want to go. Insane really, they're in a different league as far as rare species and sizes of both coral and fish.

As others have said, Aquapros is a great store. If you go further north, you have to hit Sho Tank. Other than that, I like Beyond the Reef, and Advanced Aquatics.

I always liked to visit in this order Reefwise, Aquapros and Advanced Aquatics.. But this is in the Burbs

Old Town Aquarium is a very nice LFS also!!

I thought you misspelled lol. I go to the one in bolingbrook or reedwise...... or aquapros..... or top waters basement, but thats all because they are close
