What's the secret to taking pics with an iPhone

I don't think there are any real tricks....as far as I know. I am following to see if others have ideas. For me...if there is a bright part of the rock that is washing the picture out tap the display where that appears and it white balances things. It seems to work for me. Not sure if that would change the blue out or not... Give it a try.
 
I think some guys are using some kind of orange film over the lense. Not sure if I remember that correctly. Hopefully someone using it will chime in
