Peroxide dipped one of my zoa colonies and thus came out. Pod or something to worry about? Haven't had any coral issues.

Doesn't look anything like the zoa eating nudi's ive seen in pictures. All of my corals were dipped with coral rx prior in putting them in my tank.

Oh my. Due to the current infestation of these organism in our area, I am now declaring a moratorium on zoa purchases for my reef system.

This was like a week ago i just forgot to post it. The only reason iperoxide dipped my colony was cause of ha. It has shown no signs of being bothered by anything always open and happy

So is this for sure azoa eating nudi? Like i said i dipped all my corals I've gotten. And it doesn't look anything like the pictures I've seen.

I can't say for sure but it looks exactly like what I found years ago when I delt with them

Pretty much dumped the tank and started over dipped everything and got wrasses as an extra line of protection . Also did not trade or sell anything from the infected tank for 6 months to be sure no chance of spreading to other tanks.QUOTE=Joe5688;138598]Howd u deal with them?[/QUOTE]

Just inspected all my zoas with a flash light. Nothing found. Dipped another big zoa colony i had and only pods found. Dipped a zoa frag and again only pods.

Chance that's a big pod?

a dip will kill the nudie not its eggs so once the eggs hatch you have a problem start to look for the eggs and remove them manually

No its a nudi of some sort for sure. That's good news but still watch for eggs and others for a a few weeks

Like i said in a previous post, that picture was taken 12/21 to be exact. And none of my zoas stay closed or anything.

That's good If they are zoo eating nudis , It's after the eggs hatch and they start to feed as an infestation occurres is when you notice zoo issues .

Ok I'll keep am eye out. Hopefully its nothing bad as myzoas have never stayed closed or disappeared. Here's the colony prior to the ha i got.
