Where and when to buy a Red Sea Reefer?!

It's my birthday today, so I was going to treat myself. I've heard BRS has group buys with extra points and what not. I'm going to spend the money anyway. When's the best time or place to buy? It's a big purchase, so just wanted to pick your brains as to where you would go.

(Almost pulled the trigger at Marine Depot)

Happy birthday and now sounds like a good time the tanks cost the same pretty much anywhere you go. Just keep you eyes open for 10x bonus points ect...

Thanks! Already have the order placed for the return pump, rodi, gyre, and rock. Just need to rip the bandaid off and place my order. Was wondering where you guys go to make your bigger purchases.

Red Sea tanks are drop shipped so no matter where you order it it only comes from Red Sea unless you find a lfs that stocks them. The ark in highland Indiana carry's them

4th of July last year, I was able to use a 10% coupon code from BRS. Shipping was free and no tax. I would wait for the next major holiday sale.

PM me if interest.

Maidia- that looks amazing, pretty sure it will be out of my range $$ wise. Good luck with the sale!

Price wise I know I'm in for 2k regardless of where I buy it. Some of these sites have good deals with points and what not. Going to get the 250 deluxe in white that comes with the two hydra 26's by Ai. Found a site that is offering $210 back in points for the next purchase. Which very well could take care of most of the cost of protein skimmer.

I'd like it sooner than later and I think we're a ways out from the next major holiday. So I guess customer service and any perks in the way of points would be most beneficial.

Have you considered a DIY build? Or do you prefer the plug and play option of the Reefer series?

If you like to DIY, you can check out my build thread. I have a build of a tank similar in form and function to the Red Sea Reefer 250.

Plug n play, combined with build quality.

I was actually looking through you're thread earlier. Still have a lot of reading to do. Looks like a great setup! I just don't have the time. The wife has agreed to carry on with this and I want to show results asap lol.

Awesome. Thanks for the input Joe. They are offering twice the points back as Marine Depot. Looking like my best bet.
