They need a little less light Mai. Then they will all be rainbow... The heads getting more light are more red... But look nice!

Eric, I bought 2 heads 2 years ago from Vivid Aquarium. Name is Disco Fever. They change color all the time. Now Jorge gave me a hint. I have to move it to shading area. Thanks.

Man, those are ugly. ;) Any particular reason why you went with Bridgelux?
Matt, when I cut some sps and put in a frag tank under bridglux fixture they grow seem faster than the main tank. Also the color look much brighter and better. The par is better too without optics. I will put 60 degree Len later this week.

Jorge, I did not know about too much light, thanks. I will move to lower light.

Tom, anytime you are welcome.

Mai keep around 100 par and shaded areas will b best. That's why the ones on the side or under the top polyps get best color. Too much light will cause them to morph to one solid color.. In ur case red.. But they look real nice.

Joe, I changed all my leds to Bridgelux leds (Royal Blue, 15000K-20000K, some Red, Green and UV).

nice cause i have bridgelux to and just ordered red green and uv plus extra royal blue to get rid of some of the whites not gonna use optics though would be to much for my 75 gal

If you have too many leds, then the optics would be overkill, but otherwise I run 55/65° optics on certain colors so it doesn't bleed too much out of the tank.

Mine dont bleed out shoved in canopy 5 inchez off water line optics would be over kill on my tank and probably kill my corals optics r better for deep tanks luke mai tank

to answer your original question, they both look BEAUTIFUL! i kind of like the top one just a little bit more. The subject fills entire frame with the point of focus at a perfect spot (IMO). I could see that picture as something on a magazine ad

Heck yeh Mai... nice pics & addition!
My vote is the 2nd if I had to pick. I like it because I think it has more contrast (better black value), the images seems a wee bit sharper and it doesn't have the corraline in the foreground.
