Who feeds clams

I picked up four big clams from the grocery store, popped them open and removed the insides, then froze them. When I want to feed the fish, i cut of a nice chunk of clam, dice it up, and throw it in. I have never seen my fish go crazy like this before. I'm almost reluctant to feed the clams because my Niger trigger zooms around so fast that I'm sure it's going to lead to broken acros or an injured fish, given the size of his fangs.

Do any of you guys feed clams to your fish?
 
Jewel by my house had Oysters on sale a few weeks back 25 cents per so I picked up about 16 of them. I blended them up with a little fresh water and put it in a bag laid it flat and froze it. The corals and my fish love the stuff But I dont feed it to them daily just every 3 days when I feed my corals.
