who ordered from cherry corals?

this is what i got. hellboy acro, tri color blasto, key lime pie chalice, and a malibu sunset blasto not pictured. im not even sure if I won the malibu sunset. when i was trying to check out with it, it said it was sold but I just looked at my email and they charged me for it so hopefully it comes. I was up until 6am watching the sale until I passed out :)

How much was the blasto? I sold this colony for 79.95 last week.

It's hard to compare anything to Cherry Coral's pictures. They are so obviously oversaturated it makes me never want to order from them. I've never seen a blasto with blue and green in the center. Hopefully this is what was meant by "tri-color" :)

That hellboy looks really nice. I'd sure like a piece of that! Hopefully it's a fast grower :thumb:
 
i have bought from cherry corals in the past and what i bought did look exactly like the pictures. I dont know if they still do t5, but thats what they used when i bought and thats what i have so i think i had no color problems. but i do agree with happy coral, not on the juice part but these blastos are probably the same thing. Macro shots plus lots of blue= never before seen blasto
 
I've bought over 50 things in past 6 months. While I do know they saturate pics... I will say their products are ultra and still stand out amongst everyone else I've bought from. The only thing are prices can b high... But that can be worked out if purchasing as much as I do.

Come and take a look at mine from WCR. It's blue along the inner rim and green in the centers. It's my favorite piece in my tank right now.

I had not looked at the sps, never have i bought sps from them either. I noticed they say they use radium 20k for sps so i agree with you, those pics are oversaturated. Colors might be whats there but way saturated. Under the right lights you can make even some common corals cool, look at the insanely priced chalices for that example. If you want nice sps online that wont kill you with pricing look at reefpets on ebay, his corals are gorgeous and pics are true.
 
Hey guys the shipments just came in a hour ago. Everything looks great so far. I did get the sunset blasto and the owner even called me saying it was sold twice but he would hook me up with a bigger one.(1extra polyp) man the owner called me at 7am yesterday to tell me that and said my order would be shipped out on the first round. I'm SO happy with them. I will get some pics tomorrow because I'm not turning my hqi on today. I was a little nervously ordering off line but I felt good about because rosko orders from them so big thanks to u rosko :)
 
O when I opened the box the hellboy looked just like the pic, if anything it was bigger than I thought it would be :)

No prob. Tell todd I said hi next time. He text me during live sale to ask "what's up" bc I hadn't been buying...lol Todd and Brett both great guys. Again..a little pricey. And we (windycityreefs) get from same places as they do... So I've bought less and less each time from them. =)

That's good to know. If you're happy enough with what you got compared to what was advertised, then that's good. I understand why someone would saturate pics so that the subtle colors can be seen. As long as the colors are real then that's what I care about. Also good to know they'll work with you on large orders because the prices do seem to be a little high for what I'm seeing. He has several pieces I'm interested in.
