Who's ready for more snow?

Expected 5-8inches mainly in the afternoon. I don't mind the snow, but I work in the city and leave at 4p on 290 (to Wheaton) so traffic is always bad...let alone w/ that much snow & freezing temperatures. People don't know how to drive in those conditions and the last thing I need is for someone to hit me lol (I'm a K-9 Officer ... Don't think the dog would be happy at all, nor would I lol)

I barely scooted by the debacle on LSD last year, all lanes were blocked but the far left one at Belmont.

So long as people don't stop, I have All-Wheel-Drive, and can usually plow through. Bring it on!

i love a big snow durng rush hour i just got paid three hours of ot to do nothing but sit in traffic lol from cicero to my house 3 hours

It took me 3.5 hours to get home today... I'm seriously thinking about relocating to a warmer climate.

Yeah jus like I thought, took me over 4 hrs to drive 28miles (chicago to Wheaton) annnd my K-9 Unit Vehicle was rear-ended on 290W. Luckily no damages to my vehicle or my K9.

Haha, Unfortuately I am privately contracted so I couldn't...(though i did ponder the thought of 'accidentially' releasing my dog) uI do know IL State Law extremely well, so he got an ear-full, as well as a list of tickets i COULD have gotten him issues... failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision, driving to fast for conditions, improper lane usage, tinted windows, improper display of vehicle tags (no front plate) blah blah blah... but I was nice... it was so minor of a tap that my K-9 slept right through it...

A few of ya have seen my K-9 from picking up equipment/frags but here he is. He's a very 'diverse' dog... German Shepherd, imported from Hungary, commands are in Czech, Spanish name (Pedro), living in America, w/ a polish handler lol
