Why do you think pico's and nano's have become so popular?

In recent year I have seen a popular rise in smaller aquariums. My question to all of you is why do you like them.

While I would love to have a 1000 gallon in wall tank, it just insn't in my life right now, but I can do a 28g Nano all-in-one that sits on my bar and has a little bit of everything the big tanks give. I am definitley feeling the pain of the smaller tank in stocking limitations, but without the nano I would be stuck with guppies. Maybe I can't collect 12 different crazy rare chalice corals, but I can have one little one and to me it is better than nothing.

Cheaper, and honestly they look like a real reef if done correctly where a 55 gallon tanks rockwork looks like someone dumped a bag of rocks out

+1 Smith11...also, it's more manageable. It's not considered a hobby if you're working and stressing more than enjoying it.
