I found this lil' bugger in my tank the other day, and did some research, and found them to be "not" reef safe...so I had to fish him out. That probably explains why some of my soft corals have been disappearing.

I got 2 out so far, and a chunk of my duncan is missing today, so I get to flashlight the tank at 2 am.... fun fun. They are not nice but maybe a good species tank setup idea....

Sorry to hear about the duncan, but I bet the crab is the culprit...they are an interesting species. I still have the one I caught, he's in a sealed plastic container inside the tank. Let me know if you want him. :)
 
my tank is so healthy, the darn thing is healed in a day! lol more realistically it's trying to split or something cuase hes been acting really weird for a couple days now, and now has no signs of the rip.
 
Nope, I don't have a sump. So he's stuck in the container for now. Im sure somebody will want him...probably the lfs.
