Xenia colony

I have a colony of xenia which i'm not sure what type it is. Its about 6 inches by 6 inches and its overgrowing its rock. I have never fragged since I am relatively new. Is it worth trying to break up and sell/ give away? any input would be appreciated

Carefull with this button polyps as well. Those also grow like weeds and will take over very quickly. I just picked out 3 rocks and puttied a couple more to get rid of mine. They were stinging everything
 
Those look like Red Sea/ Pom Pom Xenia. You can frag it by just cutting low on the stalk. The trimmings can be fastened loosely onto rubble rock, frag mounts, etc. and they'll eventually attach. They're too slimy and flimsy to attach using super glue. If you want to try to sell them I would try Craigslist. Everyone on here pretty much gives them away.
 
clamp a small tupperware container with a bunch of small holes in it to the inside wall of your fuge or other low flow area with the botom of it filled with rubble or plugs. Peel the xenia from the rock with a tweezers or heliostat clamp (works best). Try not to actually cut or damage the base as it can cause spreading. After you have a chunk just drop it in the litle container you made. it should attach in a matter of 5 hours or so.
