Zooanthids

I have had my zoos for about 4months now and they were doing great until this week noticed that they are all closed. I have 6 different colors of zoos in a 150g tank. Water all tests fine and can't figure it out. Any ideas?

How often do you change water, and what percentage do you change at that time? Also, what salt mix are you using?

What temperature was your tank at over the last few months? Has that changed at all since the weather has become a bit cooler?

What are these parameters at: Nitrate, phosphate

Sorry for all the questions, but honestly without more details, you will see answers anywhere from too much light to the full moon.

I had the same issue. Somehow i got a bunch of nudibranchs in the tank. I have been taking my zoos out when i see them closed up and soaking/swishing them in fresh RO/DI water. Its been working. At the same time i have gotten rid of some bristle worms that were in with the polyps.

Are your other corals fine?

Is it only of the zoas or all of them ??

I have red hornets and fruitloops do that to me. Fruit loops are gone after a while but red hornets are opening back up fine.

If you checked all the parameters then best thing to do is to dip then all in revive. And also check your nitrates and nitrites also.

I was also having the same issue. Bayer dip took care of that.
