Start new DIY led strips for my 80 Deep Blue...supplement for my MH and T5 Geissement Fixture



Will try to put those in the T5 reflector.

Thanks [MENTION=473]jayjigga[/MENTION] hook me up with 2 reflectors...

Stay tune for more build...:)
 
How u gonna keep from over heating . Any fans ? Im gonna be honest mai the other ones looked way cleaner look thats jmo

Basement is OK for heating and the Leds control with sunset/sunraise dimming down.

The old one look heavy too me..

What current are you running those at?

Generally with limited passive cooling, that generation of 3 watt LED should be only driven at 300-500mA max.

Give it a touch test. If its too hot to hold its too hot.

I hold it for 10 minutes and only warm..not hot at all...
 
You should be fine.

LEDs do much better when their heat is transferred.

If they get too hot they become dimmer and dont last.
