Bulk Reef Supply Acquires Marine Depot

Wow, once they had the infusion of capital I had a feeling they would be making moves but I didn't see this coming. Looks like they are taking a page from the earlier days of Amazon. I'm actually sad because I would cross-shop them often. More competition only leads to better pricing for the end customer. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few more acquisitions and BRS to slowly increase pricing.

Today the reef aquarium world woke up to some shocking news this morning when it was announced that one of America’s largest online retailers, Marine Depot, had been acquired by Bulk Reef Supply.

My only issue with this is that I was getting all my frozen food from Md and if brs does not start to sell frozen will have to look elsewhere
