Here's what I just did. May pull that rockI agree on that rock in the back. It looks like an afterthought and I'd remove it altogether. It will give you better negative space. I don't mean to be critical, but you asked

Great idea thanks for the tipI like it much better without that rock in the back corner. You've got a lot of good options for coral placement now.
Speaking of coral placement, something I've been doing for a while now.....I have been popping my SPS frags off of the plugs and gluing them onto small rocks. Then I glue the small rock to my rockwork. This keeps things looking natural, but gives you a few months of growing time to see if the corals like the placement. You can always pop the small rock off of your rockwork and move it up until the time the coral grows off of the small rock.

Totally understandableI forgot to mention the main reason I started doing this. After dealing with aefw, I refuse to put anyone else's plugs in my tank.
U talking about swings at night because that happens im guessing u have a apex now and it graphs it for u . Guess what my tank swings to and does fine so stop chaseing ghosts dont even bother testing that shiet. Most important is alk keep alk stabile next is mag can swing just keep it close to what they recomend then calcium easy to keep stabile but as long as its over 420 u goodCan't seem to get ph to stay stable and it's annoying.
Calcium 400
Alk 8-9
Mag 1395
PH 7.6
Yeah I know it's just frustrating that everything else is in order and the pH should fall into place and it just wont. My ph won't even go over 8 latelyU talking about swings at night because that happens im guessing u have a apex now and it graphs it for u . Thanks for the read Sawdonkey I kept getting alarms from my apex about the pH that's why I was curious about it. I just changed the alarm and am not watching it so close.
Here's my order from BC. Will be here Thursday morning.
The 3 circled are not mine
If you don't mind me asking how is BC cost wise? They look like they have nice stuff!
