***1200 gallon reef***

What was in your filter storage tanks before you turned them in to sumps. I have access to these but I wasn't sure how to clean them and if they would be reef safe. O yeah and awesome build lol.

lol ya Bill wanns tank easily trumps mine
I can't believe he is on here his tank was my inspiration

And ya they were 250 totes that were holding water, i cleaned them all very thoroughly

I will post some more recent pics tonight

Here are some pics to enjoy

Thanks everyone for looking

Saddlebacks just laid eggs in the tank!!!! Really cool to watch them clean these little eggs

Is there anything I should do? I have bred clowns in a breeder tank but have no expierence with Saddleback's breeding.

What are the chances of them actually hatching?

I have a fish list for everyone:
3 diamond watchmen- 2 males and 1 female ( causes a few problems, but they are ok)
1 yellow goby- he has a nice little house
1 Yellow tangs- loves to graze and is like 6 inches
3 foxface- all good size, 4-5 inches (2 magnificant, 1 yellow)
10+ cardinal fish- dont do much but look nice(pajama and bangahi)
2 melenerous wrasses- a little territorial
5 blue/green chromis-the first fish and runs the tank hahaha jk
1 yellow tailed damsel- he is a nice size, lives in colt coral
2 clarki clowns- great personality
5 inch scopas tang, grazes well and there are no major conflicts with the yellow tangs
A beautiful sailfin tang 10+ inches, started grazing right away
my saddleback pair, with there eggs
Two naso tangs- one large one small
two vlaminghi tangs- love the colors on these guys
1 purple tang- fought with the scopas but they are ok now
1 Bicolor blenny-loves all of the rock work
1 Midas Blenny- a surprisingly active swimmer
1 bicolor dottyback- he loves to swim by the veggieclip
1 chevron tang-the fastest glowing fish i have ever seen
1 jawfish that is only seen when you feed them

I test pretty frequently like 1-2 times a week.... water is stable and there is no fluctuating in pretty much anything because of the water volume, which is nice :)

wow awesome fish list.. i thnk u need some more fish lol

the thing is I want a lot more but I want little fish so no matter where u look there will be something

Maybe only a few more showfish as the tank develops

lol it still looks sooo empty

lol i had one in there but he started getting aggressive so he is for sale now

He was a favorite of mine but with his teeth growing everyday, there is no place for him in a peaceful reef

I think a school of Blue tangs would be awesome! and with that water volume, you can get like 100+ anthias. I saw your build thread on RC. Tank came along great!

Thanks a lot....I am in the process of getting a nice 6 inch blue tang from a friend

lol I think a 100 anthias would be a lot, I was feeling a nice school of 12 or 2 different schools of 4-6

This site is better than RC because it is so much more localized
