120G tank. Wtih basement sump.

I doubt theres anything like instant results. I try to tell some of my family that the only instant thing there is, is coffee.

But yea. Youre looking at around 2 weeks to see something. Then work from that if you like results or make changes.
The dry spots are probably flow issues. The problem being that your feeding water from below to a higher point. Lets say for example if your supply was coming from a higher point would naturally increase flow. Im thinking if say you placed the sump lower....or the manifold higher then being in the table from what i remember.

I usually run my finger by the dead spots to start a flow path when i 1st started. I also had to make the slot alittle wider and the flow was great.

Sweet Jesus I need a drink

Ok update time. Redid some rock work since I didn't like how the rock shelves took away from the depth of the tank along with it messing up the vortech placement. Still waiting on getting some 18AWG wire so I can rewire the ATI fixture so it won't keep tripping the GFCI when I plug in the dimming cable. At some point this summer I'll swap out the bulbs and get two sets of the T5 led strips for the dawn dusk bank. I have been impressed with structure of the powermodule. that thing is pretty much as solid as solid can be. Still trying to dial in the ATS, I have shortened the photo period and I need to find a light diffuser since the center of the sheet is photo saturated. Still fighting algea, I'm pretty sure I have byropsis. God I hate byropsis.
