Little bit of an update. Stand has been stained and it's pretty much ready for all of the tanks. The 40 has been successfully drilled for a herbie overflow. The only thing I have to do to the tanks is paint the backs black with some krylon spray paint. This system is going to be sps dominant so I'm going with a lot of flow and lighting. Some pics

Since it looks like my 125 is getting a lighting upgrade and I already have a 36" ai rail kit from my old 58, I'm going to throw all three ai's on the 40 breeder. I'm also still gonna use a couple stunner strips so I can get some more color in the spectrum.

Not a bad idea to kinda recycle equipment instead of trying to sell it

Good halide fixtures aren't cheap and the cost of running them with the bulbs is just not worth it. I'm sticking with leds...

The OR fixtures are nice I ran one for a couple months. I actually just took it down and replaced it with a nice halide fixture. But all in all they are a very good fixture, I just personally prefer halides

So I kept looking at that deep blue tank and kept thinking about how it should be more than a frag tank. So I go and look at my 125 for inspiration and then I spot my anemone. Click. Screw the frag rack and put some Dry rock in there and started an aquascape. Turn out the diy frag rack Fits perfectly in the 29 gallon fuge! So to kill 2 birds with one stone I decided to use one of my par 38 lamps and the CC fuge light to light to frag tank/fuge. The 30 will be a RBTA garden!
