And i think you'll be fine with ur shrimps dan... I have a coral banded, camel, skunk cleaner, fire shrimp all in the same tank. only kind of shrimp that never makes it past a few months is peppermints

Alright cool, i wanna keep my shrimpies. That's odd Eric, my peppermints have been fine -had 3 of them only can find 2 at the same time (third might be gone) but I've had them forever.

Thx for the info Walt I'll keep an eye on it. They never seemed to bother mine, always stayed on the sanded with my Kenya and yumi

they may steal food, but I don't think they eat coral. The big SPS display at Brookfield has a bunch of huge Sexys in it (it made me feel soooo cool when my 2 and 3 year olds were identifying all the animals in there).
 
Yeah I think sexys and SPS are fine -all shrimp steal from corals, was just concerned about the pgmy hawkfish eating the sexys. But they'll be in their first, and of I start w/ a small hawkfish maybe he'll learn "shrimp are friends, not food"
 
i didnt see my perppermint shrmp not even once for as long as the hawk is there .. now with hawk gone i see him over everything ..
