Angler/Frogfish tank.

Yeah, they'll even "eat themselves" to death. They'll try and eat something too big for itself and not let go, killing both fish.

I bought mine a damsel (this is in an 8 gal nano btw) a month ago, and despite his trying, my frogfish is unable to catch the damsel, and they have come to some weird truce. So, it seems some fish are smart/fast enough to survive long enough to become an inhabitant of the tank.

Also make sure you have no corals with stinger tentacles, as the frog fish has skin more delicate than ours and could potentially get stung and infected.

What you circled is a toadstool. The frogfish was backed into the rocks when the pic was taken. He eats every 4 days either silverside or ghost shrimp and is doing well. He doesn't venture to the top if at all but hey it's a fish, but thanks for the warning on the stinger corals.
