I picked up a small 1.5-2" black anglerfish and was wondering if there any special steps I should take while quarantining?
 
they don't do the swim so good. Make sure he won't get swept into your overflow or filter intake in the QT. And show us a picture.
 
I don't think he would the flow is very minimal in the qt it's just a small HOB filter and a heater
