Just fired up my lab for todays work and thought I'd share my current home lab. This is what I spend my entire day working on recently. Built out for CCNP with a couple extras, at some point need to get a couple mpls routers and more wireless.

There no where near as big as the stuff I use to work on, but cameras aren't allowed in most data centers.

LMAO. It's easy to mess it all up. Too many numbers and feilds with most of them seemingly being complicated for no reason.

Computer simulators just can't replicate all the things I must be proficient in to both pass the certifications as well as my job. Maybe some day they'll hack the cisco asics so I can replace all of it with a sim.

Looks exciting.. Networks are a blast to trouble shoot NOT.. Currently wire sharking my WPA2/Enterprise network to see why some devices are rejecting my Certificate. AGH So much fun.

Fixing broken is my specialty. Been dropped in all kinds of networks over the last ten years to understand and fix them. Wireshark is a great tool, but being able to read the content can be a bear unless you know the protocols.

Good luck! CCNA isn't that bad, a lot of memorization of details but not too bad for anyone who knows the protocols and works with the gear. I don't expect ccnp will be all that difficult either, just lots of practice to know it inside and out.
