I have a aptasia growing right in the middle of my superman zoas if i use something like joe's juice to try and kill the pest will it hurt my zoas i really dont want a pepperment shrimp in my tank so looking for another way to kill the pest

Personally I don't like joes juice. But if u turn off your pumps and spot feed the aiptaisia with a syringe u should be able to kill it with apraisia x without hurting ure zoas. You just gave to be carefully when u spot feed it not to squirt your zoas.

You can use lemon juice and syringe. The following excerpt is from saltaquarium.about.com. "Fill the syringe with lemon juice. Insert the needle into (not through) the base (not the top) of the anemone.
Inject about .5ml of the lemon juice into the anemone".

You could get a berghia nudibranch. The specifically eat aptasia and nothing else. It'll crawl past your zoas and eat the aptasia right in front of you.

I use Aptaisa Rx by Blue Vet. Works great and is inexpensive. Wow Animal 414! Talk about rude, I don't believe he asked your opinion on what was a "real" coral.

If u use joes juice use real small amount in the syringe only a few drops or so and squirt him right on the head so you dont over spray on your zoes it will kill them I have used it and worked for me

is there any pet stores that carry apraisia x or does anybody have a little to spare? thanks for all the help. when animal414 stops having his pet store do everything for him and learn how to take care of a reef tank then maybe you can call yourself a real reefer until then you should switch to African Cichlids or just get a hamster

I have some I could spare, but it's not worth the ride from Chicago. I would order some online if you can't find it locally. I order from petmountain.com.
