Automatic feed set up for coral

I seen somewhere someone had a very small refrigerator under the stand with bottles of coral food hooked up to a dosing pump with lines into the bottles to feed at night after lights were out ??
Has anyone tried this or doing this ? Looked kinda like a good way to feed corals since most of the corals feed at night ??

Just a thought ??

HUGE PITA. You need to figure out a feed cycle, rinse cycle, drain cycle, prime cycle, etc. Avast Marine works has a pre-built system in the works but with the controller I bet it will be very expensive.

Ultimately I don't see how this can work, how can you keep the feed line cold after it runs? Some of it will be exposed even after the pump turns off and you are done dosing(feeding). In addition you need to keep the food suspended, so I assume there needs to be a stir prior to the pump turning on which in return creates even more complex issues to solve creating all these holes from the fridge then sealing it.

Automation overkill!

IMO this take a lot of the fun out. I love looking at and feeding the tank when the lights go out.
