Blackhawk's Rimless starfire 120g with 40g breeder sump build

the window is a legit issue tho.

Yeah, it can be. I had a 46 bow reef in front of a window for 4 years with no issues though. Just no where else it could go. I covered the back with aluminum foil to reflect suns rays, and just made sure the heater/fans were running properly. I'd get an extra heater for the winter time, and have an extra fan for the summer months. It'll be worth it.

+1 the foil is a good idea. as long as your not opening it up or super drafty

You bought THAT tank? Congrats. I was thinking about getting it but thre was no way it would work in my place. Congrats!

I gotta come over when it's all said and filled.

How many people did it take to lift? I have similar tank Except 30 deep... Things a beast.

It took 4 pretty strong guys, we still barely got it to the 36" height of the cabinet. Then we had to lift the cabinet with the tank on it into place since its in a tight corner. I'm not worried about the window at all, its new construction and the window 100% keeps the cold out as verified the past 2 winters. Plenty of heating and chilling is already planned out.

So my Maxspect Razors came in today... Super easy to setup and configure, my only complaint was the stands on the sides were tough to get in due to some misalignment of the aluminum and the hole. Not a big deal at all, and I plan on hanging them as soon as I can get a tall latter as my ceilings are 12ft. I setup my 6 time points to against the light based on the time of day, full sunrise and sunset, and using my reefkeeper elite with moon light control to do the majority of the night phase.
