CONTEST WILL OFFICIALLY START APRIL 11, 2011 AND END July 11, 2011.
 John at Colormecoral has offered to donate the grow out frags. This will include 1 polyp of the purple death paly mounted on a frag plug.

He will cut them and mount them on frag plugs for us. Each frag plug will have a number and each person will be randomly assigned a number. Whatever number you get, you will get that frag. He will also hook us up with very nice frag packs for the winners. The frag pack will be announced once we have the official number of participants. Cost to play is 15 dollars. Pay when you pick up the coral. All the money will go toward the prizes. A red hornet is guarantee in the prize pool!!!!

The contest is simple, the person who ends up with the most zoas/paly at the end of the contest will be our winner. If there is a tie, there will be a random drawing to pick the winner.

Simple rules to follow:
1. Must do a quick writeup of their system
eg. size, flow, light, placement of the zoos, coral food, fish, etc
2. Must document with photos the progress of the zoas on a biweekly basis.
3. No cheating. If your zoa dies, you are out.
4. Have fun. This is friendly competition amongst all us local reefers.

Yes exactly. I was thinking 3 months, 15 dollar buy in. Money will go toward an awesome frag pack. 1st place and 2nd place
 
I will give it a week or so to allow people to sign up. Frags were cut today and mounted on frag plugs. This will allow time for the frag to heal as well. When are you transferring?
 
So i get red hornets for the frag i must raise? lol Count me in.Who are we paying and who will have the plugs to pickup? Hopefully @ Johns place, I need to look @ more of his stuff as i didn't get to stop by Sunday.
 
PU will be at John in Lockport & my place or another central location if needed. You definitely have to be a registered user to participate because you need to update photos of your frag here
 
Hi everyone, I would like very much to sign up for this and I have 2 questions, 1st where do I post pics and description of my tank "as per the rules"? and 2nd where and when are these to be picked up at? sorry I'm new here and don't much know my way around the site yet. :) and this is only my 1st post.......hope that's enough :a01:
