We are looking into phyto as well further down the line. We'll keep you updated. We will probably end up giving them a shot in a few months.

Live mysis? A reliable local source will make me want to try raising cuttlefish from eggs.

How can I increase my population? Is it worth buying some at MWC and putting in the sump?

As strange as it sounds, our pod cultures exploded when we started feeding them rotifers. That might be worth a shot. We have plenty. Phyto is also great, but very hard to dose in a system to make a noticeable difference in pod population.

I would imagine that adding pods to your sump would beneficial to some degree. As far as how many jars, it's hard to say. You really can't "overdose" pods.
