Thanks guys!

I am tumbling the biopellets. Sorry, I thought those and GFO were the same thing but apparently a quick google search showed me they were a little different. I picked up a bag of the biopellets and put them in the Innovative Marine Mini-Maxi reactor. It fits in the back second chamber on the left. I had to use some tape and tubing to keep it at the level I need and in place but it definitely works.

I love the tunze skimmer. It broke in right away with no issues and it skims great. Nice dark green skimmate and some particles in the skimmate.

It is not noisy at all. I honestly can not hear it at all. If you do get it, I recommend buying it from intank. They already cut the magnet for you and modify it to fit in the middle chamber. I really think that skimmer is what made all the difference in my tank. I might get a hang on back reactor from two little fishes to run carbon, then I am putting a Radeon in my hood and I am all set.

I have the intank cup also for the skimmer. You can not put it on without that, if you keep your hood.

The only issue is that when you want to open the hood, you have to take the cup out but it is not that big of a deal really.

oh and for fish this is what I have....

1 Fire Fish
1 Osc Clown
1 Ora Jigsaw Clown ( I got super lucky on this pickup and I love that fish)
1 Psychedelic Mandarin
1 Bi-color Blenny
1 Emerald Crab and 1 Morocan Peppermint Shrimp
Handful of blue leg hermit crabs, two turbo snails, one fighting conch and a few nassarius snails

I think I am maxed out on fish and I am ok with that.

I was going to add a Yellow Clown Goby but I don't think I am now. The Blenny gave me the color and personality I was looking for and I feel like the YCG wouldn't find his own place in the tank now. The only thing I may add is a starfish again.

I want to swap out my Seabae Nem for a Bubble Tip once I put the new lights in and I want to add a yellow torch with blue tips.

Then I will glue all my favorite zoas on the rockwork and make a ric garden and have some chalices on the sand and I will be one happy camper. Of course, I will need a new tank after that for my home office.

I already stripped the hood of the halides to put my current LED strips. So that makes it easier even though it was super easy.

I seen a thread before where a guy in NY I think, did it to his jbj. He didn't even put holes for the fans. Just drilled into the hood after he stripped it and screwed the fixture into the hood.

He had the nicest reef i ever seen in a jbj nanocube. I'll try to see if i can find a link. I know another member here was also going to try it.

Time for a tank update!!!

So I actually have a brand new tank. I swapped the 28 Gal JBJ for a 29 Gal Oceanic Biocube. The back chambers are much better with options of customizing equipment and the tank itself was much better than the one I had. It is a little shorter but a little wider and the stand looks much better than the one i had.

It has DIY LED's in it and I will be grabbing a controller for it soon. Going with an Apex but i need the one with the VDM for dimming the DIY Led's.

I also ordered the brand new Tunze 9001 skimmer today. Should have it tomorrow. I picked up a RBTA from Gary and I am loving it.

Here are some updated shots.

tinman yes sir it is!! I have been wanting one for a while. I finally decided i had enough of the home depot bucket taking up so much real estate in my cabinet and these guys had a sale going.
Jep21 the dimensions are 14x6x14 it fits perfectly in our cabinets. It is a 4 gallon but they have an 8 gallon one too. I only needed a 4 so i was happy with this.

They have a ton of colors and it is $69 plus $25 shipping by ups. I got it in a few days. It was a smooth transaction.

Check out their facebook page and you'll see all the colors. I love this thing already!

Here is the post that i got this from. I am glad mine came with the green door also. I prefer that.

I just have to get a little tab or something to stick on it to make a little latch for grabbing the door. It is easy to open but i think with that, it would be even easier.
