So here is my take on the whole situation. The situation being we trade our colony of Flaming Bugatti (should have been the BPC) back to Negret for the a frag of the Real BPC and a frag of the Crazy clown that we lost early on.
First, I think it is great that Negret finally acknowledged that he made a mistake.
Second, I think he is ridiculous to ask for the colony he sent us back in return for something we already paid for.
Third, I would rather split up the Flaming Bugatti (this one is considered his second best rainbow some people think it's nicer than the crush).
Forth, I while I would like to have the BPC and Crazy clown in my collection I'm not sure it's a fair trade since he is going to be sending us booger frags. Both the crazy clown and the flamethrower are very slow growers so it may be another 2 years before we can make the first cut on them.
My opinion on this whole thing is keep the colony that we've been growing out. Negret knows that it's worth a a ton and that's why he wants it back. He sells single eye frags for $300-$400 a pop so he sees a $2000 profit for him. I still think he owes us the BPC any unless he is sending a six eye mini colony it's not worth shipping him something we have ready to split. When he does ship us the little 1-2 eye frag I don't really care who gets it in our group. Draw straws to see who gets it or give it to Nino for all the hard work he has put into this growout. I actually like that idea better.
