Cross Country Move?!?!???!

Walt u crack me up...but can have the left overs once im done.hahahaha.jk... Like there's gonna be any left.

i dont see why no one emptys liverock into buckets or something and kept the corals and fish in the tank with like 1/4 of the water with a powerhead or something, it would just act like a wavemaker if you avoid to sudden of stops. you could build a wood frame for extra precaution?

Don't think u ever made a major move... Heck I moved 2 blocks away and my place wasn't "set up" for 1-2 months. It's a hectic time and I'm sure setting up a tank is that last amount of added stress needed.

On top of that. What's gonna keep the water temp stable? Especially on 2 day drive?

IMO too much a headache.. And fear of losing things.

YUP! EXACTLY! AND add an overly nervous wife, 9month old, and 2 dogs to the mix! We plan to rent for 6months then buy a house so we may not be settled for a year or so! Not to mention who know what size tank I can have at the future house. Might need to be a cube or could be a 120 tek! I'm going to keep my 9 gallon, ATO, Korelias, and LED claps and that's it for now. I can always start over down the road.

Hey Brett - Good luck on the interview Tuesday! I hope things go well. Let me know if I can help when it come time to breaking down the tank!

Demmit, thats one of my fav tanks ... lol if my apartment allows i would take it as a whoooole ..

Good Luck Brett.. and well dibs on some zoas in your tank :D

i moved from colorado and shipped all my livestock in 2 crates via same day air freight had friend in denver take to airport and i got my stuff at ohare 2 hours later...its really not that bad if you plan it out... i just had the new tank set up and running with water brought my skimmer pumps lights, etc sold the tank and bulky stuff .. same day air...its probably less stress than the corals see coming in from whoeverknowswhatInishi to the distributor to the lfs....

Oh wtf, I just noticed it was you who posted this...demmit! People keep moving on me! I'll just start tossing your coral for ya since I don't have room. That's the best I can do for ya Buddy :)
