Darienreefs 125 Mixed

Phosphates are super high and nitrates are 0. I think my zoas are pissed because of the low nitrates and my sps is pissed at high phosphates... changing gfo every week and doing 20 gal water changes every week

What is your lighting schedule?

Did some testing today
Cal 320
Alk 8.2
Mag 1250
Phos 0.1
Nitrates 0
Can't believe how much nutrients have been used. Did some dosing and feeding to bring up the levels. Nitrates are good at 5 right? That's what I'm gonna aim for!

Or get more fish! I always run a heavy bioload otherwise I can't keep any nutrients in the tank. I still can't register nitrates and I've got 6 fish that are fed frozen twice a day and dry 4× a day via automatic fish feeder

I was actually thinking about 3 anthias and a couple more chromis. Any fish suggestions? You have a nice selection of wrasses right? I just don't want my pod population getting destroyed. Hmm. Maybe I need a display fuge.....

I've got 3 at the moment: blue-sided fairy wrasse, black leopard, and yellow coris, plus a sixline in my frag tank. They do do a number on the pods but I don't have a mandarin and all the wrasse eat frozen readily. I personally love wrasses. I've never had anthias. I am also a huge dwarf angel fan. So if I had a 125 I'd probably have 2-3 depending on species.

Honestly I don't know. My fuge doesn't have any chaeto, my ats just went online so no contribution there. I use fikter socks on the drains. I guess my skimmer is doing its job. I feed heavy, stock heavy, and dose amino acids daily to try and keep enough nutrients in the tank to keep color in my sps. They were starting to pale out when I had fewer fish and wasn't feeding as much.

I'm into show piece kind of fish. That's why I'll have a copperband butterfly and a moorish idol in my 93
