I tried to schedule myself with DFS for this visit but they were booked. I certainly hope that people didn't get all trigger happy and reserve slots for themselves and then they decided that Rhinelander was too far to travel. There would have been other people who would have REALLY gone if this is the case....

When I was up there, there were at least 20 no-shows and there was still plenty of room in teh facility.

Are you at least on the waiting list? People should call to cancel if that's the case so others can go.

I was truly planning on going but things happened and wife demanded I cancel the trip...and since I let DD know, they're inviting other people from the wait list.

I've now registered for the Aug 24th tour date.

I never put myself on a waiting list...live and learn. Too late now becasue I've made other plans.

I totally get it. I wish I knew about the waiting list. i'm sure there are others on the list who will use your spot :)
 
A heads up to all going, I was just informed we should expect to see up to 8" of snowfall in the area up there on Friday, possibly more Saturday. If you don't have healthy ground clearance or good all season tires, please use your best judgement about taking the trip up.
 
I'd be surprised if anyone ended up going with the storms that hit between Thursday evening and Saturday am. Everyone I knew that was going cancelled.
